For travellers, Vietnamese coffee is more than just a drink. From traditional street-side cafés to modern coffee shops, coffee is a part of everyday life in Vietnam. During our family trip to Vietnam in September 2026, we also experienced Vietnamese coffee ourselves. We tried Highland coffee, enjoyed coffee with condensed milk, and our children also tried egg coffee. We even bought Three-in-One Vietnamese coffee to bring back home to India.   Day 7 of our Vietnam Family Travel Diary After several busy days of exploring Ho Chi Minh City, visiting wholesale markets and taking day trips, we decided to keep Day 7 a little more relaxed and family-friendly. Our younger son had been asking to visit a zoo for a long time. Since we had previously lived in Delhi, he was used to visiting Delhi Zoo. After moving to Punjab, there isn't a zoo very close to us, so during our Vietnam trip we decided to take him to the zoo in Ho Chi Minh City. It turned out to be a lovely family day, with animals, shopping, familiar food and some simple family experiences. Morning Plan: A Zoo Day for Our Son We started our day by getting ready and planning a visit to the zoo. We booked a Grab to reach the zoo. Since we were travelling as a family group, it was convenient for all of us. Our Grab fare was approximately 93,000+ VND (≈ ₹340+ / ≈ $3.40+) .
